The world’s most famous musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, is coming to Estonia, Latvia and Poland for the first time in its original language. Celebrating its 40th stage anniversary next year, the production will be performed at Unibet Arena from 5–10 May 2026.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical is one of the most successful works in entertainment history. Since its premieres in London’s West End in 1986 and on Broadway in 1988, it has been seen by over 160 million people in 205 cities across 23 languages and has won more than 70 major theatre awards.
Inspired by Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a mysterious masked figure who hides beneath the Paris Opera House. He becomes obsessively enamoured with the young soprano Christine Daaé, devoting himself to developing her extraordinary talent and using every means possible to ensure her success.
A company of around one hundred performers, technicians and orchestra members, spectacular sets, breathtaking special effects and more than 230 costumes make this production a true theatrical spectacle, featuring Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most beloved songs, including The Phantom of the Opera, Think of Me and The Music of the Night.
The world-class cast has performed in many of the world’s greatest theatres, including London’s West End, offering audiences the chance to experience this legendary musical on a truly grand scale.
The Phantom of the Opera is presented by Broadway Entertainment Group in collaboration with LW Entertainment, with Baltic Music Group as the local promoter. The original producers in London and New York are Cameron Mackintosh and LW Entertainment.
